World: 'Putin Is Responsible For Heinous War Crimes': Justin Trudeau in Ukraine

 Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Sunday that Russian chief Vladimir Putin was liable for "atrocities", during a visit to Ukraine where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Obviously Vladimir Putin is answerable for egregious atrocities," Trudeau said at a news meeting with the Ukrainian chief.



"There should be responsibility," he added, after a G7 meeting including the Ukrainian president.


Prior in the day, Trudeau visited Irpin outside Kyiv, a city crushed by savage battling among Ukrainian and Russian powers before its occupation in March by Moscow, the city's chairman said.


"I saw direct the severity of Russia's unlawful conflict," he told journalists.


Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn posted pictures on an authority web-based entertainment channel with pictures of Trudeau composing that he "came to Irpin to witness firsthand all the loathsomeness that the Russian occupiers had done to our city".


Trudeau's visit came around the same time US First Lady Jill Biden made an unannounced excursion to Ukraine.


Markushyn said thanks to the top state leader for "the help shown by Canada to Ukraine today".


"We trust in the proceeded with collaboration between our nations for the recreation of Ukrainian urban areas after our triumph," he added.


Irpin counted around 60,000 inhabitants before Russian President Vladimir Putin sent off his assault on Ukraine on February 24.


Ukraine blames Russian powers for monstrosities against regular people - - like those in Bucha, a town near Kyiv - - after the revelation of many bodies wearing non military personnel garments in regions held then deserted by the Russian armed force.


A few Western political pioneers including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres have as of late visited Irpin and other local locations around the capital Kyiv where Russian powers were blamed for killing many regular people.


Trudeau was joined by Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland and Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, who together additionally lifted the maple leaf banner at Canada's main goal in Kyiv.
