India PM Modi, Norwegian Counterpart Meet In Denmark For Bilateral Talks

Head of the state Narendra Modi today met his Norwegian partner Jonas Gahr Store in Copenhagen and the two chiefs considered the full scope of reciprocal relations and talked about ways of extending formative participation.
PM Modi, who showed up in Copenhagen on Tuesday from Berlin on the second leg of his visit to three European countries, met Prime Minister Store uninvolved of the second India-Nordic Summit in the Danish capital.
"Helping fellowship with Norway. State heads @narendramodi and @jonasgahrstore meet in Copenhagen. They are assessing the full scope of reciprocal relations between the two countries and ways of extending formative collaboration," the Prime Minister's Office tweeted.
Sometime in the afternoon, PM Modi will go to the second India-Nordic Summit alongside Prime Ministers of Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway where they will assess the participation since the First India-Nordic Summit in 2018.
"The present plan incorporates the India-Nordic Summit and two-sided converses with Nordic pioneers after which I will leave for Paris to hold chats with President @EmmanuelMacron," PM Modi tweeted prior to beginning his commitment for the afternoon.
Instructions the media on Tuesday, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra had said that the India-Nordic highest point centers around the components of two-sided participation which basically fall into three to four significant bunches - exchange and venture ties; the advanced and development organization; the green association; and different areas of monetary collaboration.
"Nordic nations are significant accomplices for India in manageability, sustainable power, digitisation and advancement. The visit will assist in growing our complex collaboration with the Nordic locale," PM Modi had said before.
India's exchange with Nordic nations remains at over USD 5 billion (2020-21) and a combined FDI of over USD 3 billion (April 2000-March 2021).
